Ramadan Kareem!
The blessed month of Ramadan is here! As we all know, this month is a time of spiritual rejuvenation and self-reflection, and it can be challenging to balance your study, work, and daily routine with your religious obligations. Here are a few tips to help you navigate through Ramadan:
Plan your schedule: Try to adjust your work schedule and manage your time effectively to accommodate your spiritual practices, such as prayer, reading Quran, and breaking your fast on time.
Stay hydrated and nourished: Make sure to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and eating nutritious food during the pre-dawn and dusk meals (Suhoor and Iftar).
Take care of your health: Fasting can be physically demanding, so listen to your body and take breaks as needed. Avoid excessive physical activity, but don’t neglect exercise completely.
Focus on spirituality: Ramadan is a time to strengthen your connection with Allah and engage in acts of worship, such as prayer, reading the Quran, and performing acts of charity.
Stay connected with your community: Even if you're busy with work, try to attend Taraweeh prayers at the mosque or connect with your local Muslim community virtually to stay motivated and inspired.
May Allah bless you with the strength and guidance to make the most of this holy month, Aameen!

Taofiq Huq shared his journey of founding and running Spiral Blue, which is a Space Edge Services startup solving problems on Earth with solutions from space. It was super exciting meeting our fellow techies at UNSW and from the broader Sydney tech community!
